As discussed in one of our earlier posts, the City of Madrid presents its usual programming or summer festival of the town or Madrid Summers 2011 Festival, which will provide in the Spanish capital for much-awaited concert of the leading artists of the international scene . Rubén Blades, Kool & The Gang, Miguel Poveda, Carlinhos Brown, Wynton Marsalis, Los Van Van, Lila Downs and Carmen Linares are some of the proposals that form part of the program this year is split between the Puerta del Ángel Scenario and Gardens Sabatini, in addition to the spaces on the street.

Festival de Flamenco en los Veranos de la Villa 2011 en Madrid

Como ya comentamos en uno de nuestros anteriores posts, el Ayuntamiento de Madrid presenta la programación de su habitual festival de verano o Veranos de la Villa 2011, que volverá a ofrecer en la capital española esperados conciertos de gran parte de los principales artistas de la escena internacional. Dentro de la programación en los Jardines de Sabatini, destaca nuevamente la programación de flamenco, apuesta municipal ya consolidada año tras año, que en esta ocasión ofrece actuaciones de artistas como Carmen Linares, Rafaela Carrasco, El Cabrero, Argentina, Chano Domínguez, Esperanza Fernández, Dorantes, Mayte Martín, Rocío Molina, La Macanita, Cañizares, y la presentación en Madrid de Diana Navarro en su faceta como cantaora de flamenco. Además, el 25 de julio tendrá lugar el concierto Con Piel De Manzana, en el que diferentes artistas tanto del flamenco como del pop español homenajearán a Manzanita.
