Apartamentos Frente a Hoteles en Madrid

Cualquiera que sea la razón, has decidido venir a Madrid. Ya sea que tengas unos días  de vacaciones y elegido Madrid, o que tengas que venir a Madrid por trabajo, ahora lo único que te falta por hacer es encontrar un lugar donde quedarte. Puede ser que en lo primero que pienses sea en un hotel o en un hostal, es la primera opción para muchos, pero puede no ser la más acertada, ni la más rentable.

Pero ¿cuáles son las ventajas de elegir un apartamento en lugar de un hotel?

Pues bien, el precio es la más obvia (y seamos sinceros, a todos nos gusta un buen precio!) Por ejemplo, en uno de nuestros bonitos apartamentos de cuatro dormitorios, de 140 m2, situado en el corazón de Madrid, (como es el apartamento Molino) los alquileres tan sólo cuestan 165 por noche para 4 personas, y tiene capacidad hasta para 11 personas por sólo 235 € (y ahora, en Enero y Febrero de 2012, ofrece un descuento del 20%, y solo costaría 222€ por noche para 11 personas basándose en estancias semanales!!!). Intenta conseguir cuatro habitaciones en un hotel de lujo en el centro de la ciudad por el mismo precio!.  Imposible!. Por lo general, este es el precio del alquiler de una sola habitación en un hotel de lujo en Madrid. Y, para un grupo de 9 personas, habrías necesitado reservar al menos 4 habitaciones de hotel. Por lo que si unimos al buen precio  la posibilidad de cocinar en casa, ahorrarás un montón en una semana.

Sólo tienes que pensar lo siguiente: Si tu grupo es mayor que 2 o 3 personas, puedes ahorrar mucho alquilando un apartamento y cocinando algunas de tus comidas, no todas. Incluso en Madrid, donde hay numerosos restaurantes con Menu del Dia, ya que mucha gente come habitualmente fuera de casa, es difícil encontrar un restaurante de menú por menos de € 10 / US $ 15. Así que si sois 4 personas, lo mínimo que gastaréis en comidas serán unos   200$/día. La desventaja podría ser que al visitar menos los restaurantes locales, podríais perderos parte de la cultura gastronómica local y tendríais que emplear tiempo  para cocinar y limpiar. Pero si eres una persona que te gusta cocinar y experimentar con nuevos ingredientes, este mismo hecho puede convertirse en una experiencia de lo más interesante, al conocer los mercados de abastos de Madrid, que son una experiencia en sí mismos. Podrá disfrutar de la interesante experiencia de comprar en un mercado en un país extranjero - los mercados de alimentos de Madrid son una auténtica aventura!

A algunos clientes no les gustan las agencias de alquiler temporal que piden dinero en efectivo solamente para pagar el alquiler del apartamento. Prefieren tener la opción de pagar en efectivo o con tarjeta de crédito. Apartments versus Hotels in Madrid

 

Whatever is the reason, you have decided to go to Madrid. Maybe a hotel or guesthouse may be the obvious choice, but it may be not the most smart, nor the most cost-effective.

So, just what are the advantages of choosing an apartment instead of a hotel?

Well, the cost is the obvious one (and let’s face it, everyone loves a good price!) For example, one of our apartments in the heart of the city, (like the Molino apartment) rents for as little as €165 a night for 4 people, and can accommodate up to 11 people for just 222€ (now in January and February 2012 with a 20% discount). Just try to find four bedrooms in a luxury hotel in the city centre for the same price! Usually this is the rental price of just one bedroom in a luxury hotel in Madrid. With a group like that, you would have needed 4 hotel rooms. So the good price and the ability to cook at home, you will save a bunch in a week.

Only think in that: If your group is larger than 2 or 3 people, you can save big by renting an apartment and cooking some of your own meals. Even in Madrid, Spain, it's hard to find a restaurant meal for under 10 euros/US$15. So for 4 people you get close to $200/day in meals. The downsides are that by visiting fewer restaurants you miss out on some of the local food culture and the time required to cook and clean. But if you enjoy cooking you get to experiment with new ingredients, and you can check out the food markets. All of our short term rental apartments come with a modern and fully-equipped kitchen. Some clients don't like the agencies that ask for cash only.
