MADRID'S TRADE FAIR 2012 CALENDAR

 

Madrid is a favourite destination when it comes to business and conference tourism. The ICAA (International Congress and Convention Association) places our city among the top 10 world destinations chosen to carry out business meetings, fairs and conventions. One of the most important events, taken from an average of 4,000 yearly functions, is the leading world tourism fair Fitur, which sees an attendance rate of approximately 700,000 people.

As well as Fitur, the Madrid annual calendar features many other events of international standing such as: Madrid Fusión, an exhibition of the best restaurateurs on the world stage, or ARCO, the yearly International Contemporary Art Fair, which brings together galleries, artists and collectors from the four corners of the globe. Within the world of art, you will also find Estampa and the Almoneda and Feriarte antique fairs. And, representing the fashion industry is the main national catwalk event Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week. You will also find science and sporting events with important fairs such as SIMO Network and Madrid Golf, respectively.
